The Freshness of Married Love

There is freshness

When the heart stirs

Bells of joys

Ripples of laughter

Echoes of gladness

And the mind begins

To envision new 

and better ways

of creating love's

masterpiece

out of love's

treasure box

of God given

gifts and talents

for the joy of the beloved!

In my quiet ponderings

In my silent musings

In my tranquil dreamings

I'm awakened

to this newness

I'm born anew

to this freshness

I'm re created

to this holiness

Oh what blessedness

to only desire

that which is divine

to only receive

that which is God given

to only keep

that which is sacred

God was there

the unseen Hand

that tied the wedding knot

the loving Eyes

that witnessed the union

the listening Ears

that heard our "I do's"

And indeed, t'was done

etched in life's parchments

signed in heaven's portals

our happy wedding day!
