On this day of love

On this day of love

I turn my gaze to the love

in full splendor outside

and inside of me.

From the outside

I see gentle snowflakes

floating in the morning air

amidst the mists and greyness

in the serenity of the hidden valley.

I see steps upon the snowy ground

footsteps of fellow travelers

in the holy journey of seeking God

who is love, who loves unconditionally.

I see beauty and luster in the eyes

of people around me

I see smiles and joyful wordless dance

The whole world is filled with love!

From the inside I cannot see

But I can feel so intimately

love's deepest stirrings

love's most intense longings

love's enduring hopes

For I am from deep within

a pure wellspring of love

and inexhaustible outpourings

of love's most sacred treasures

of goodness, kindness and compassion.

Love is the very reason

of my existence and living

Love is the very source

of strength and hopes

Love is the light piercing through

any barrier of darkness

as I keep on trudging

Life's oftentimes

lonely, angry and frustrated world

and my soul is so anxious

and restless until comes another breakthrough

for me just to love and love till my last breath!
