Poem #1 (written Monday, August 14,2006)

LOVE IS ETERNAL

Love is eternal
Love happens
yes, in time
in most unexpected
moments
in the twists and turns
in the bends and corners
in space or out of spaces
love comes and grows…
I met Marl
over here online
and our love blossomed
like a lily in spring
over a murky pond
of still waters
in the dreams
and realities
of our lives…
My name is Bom
and I am in love
with Marl
so in the meeting
of our hearts
both the ending
and the beginning
of our names entwined
as one in love’s
sheer mystery!
Her name is Marl
and she is in love with me
and so, we share
just one hope, one dream
one space to be
in the daily exchange
of words we come to know
each other
and in knowing more
our love deepens and grows.
In our love
there is honesty
transparency and truth.
We try to be
all for each other
body, mind and soul
and we share both
the pains and joys
of the ordeals of each day.
Our love is deeply rooted
and founded
in faith, that our meeting
online is one of predestination
in the mysterious design
of the Master of the universe.
In this faith, we both go forth
and seek the deepening,
norturing, fulfillment of our love
in time, in space and in eternity!

LOVE'S STIRRINGS

Love’s Stirrings
In the beginnings
of our love
I simply stirred your heart
with a poem
just to give a little hope
just to assure you’re not alone
just to say I care for you
in a very special way.
Slowly
our love story unfolds
like early streaks of light
just after a dark night
like sprouting grasses
of a lovely mountain spring
like the blossoming
of a rosebud.
In time
our love becomes real
as the noon day sun
so bright and pure
so intense and deep
so alive and lifegiving
in the recesses of our hearts.
Now
it is breathtaking
it is reassuring
it is encouraging
it is ongoing
faster than we ever imagine
is the contagious joy
of the love we share.
Hopefully
May our love stay strong
in the midst of the world
May our love remain forever
in the annals of our lifetime
May our love transcends
the limitless horizons
of our hopes and desires
where peace abides.
Prayerfully
May our love help us
to grow and be strong
in mind, body and spirit
May we remain serene
in the assurance
of each other’s love
May we fulfill
only what God designs
so beautifully for our love.

LOVE BIDS ME WELCOME

Love bids me welcome
and let us share
this moment
etched in time
somewhere
in eternal splendor
of the beauty
and wonder
of where we are
and want to be…
Love calls me forth
to get up and walk
steady and secure
now that you are mine
and I am all yours
in the cup of joy
of our undying hope
of a bond and a tryst
heaven only knows and made…
Love makes me happy
in every moment shared
with you in this window
of our connectedness
and the screen of our unity
in one breath of cherished joy
in one glance of polished sight
in one vision of unchained hope…
Love longs no other bliss
than being together one day
and complete the bond
of our great adventure
of caring and sharing
of listening and accepting
of being and becoming
a love song of sweetest melody…
