Love transcends
the boundary
of being male and female
in being one body
and one soul
in marriage.
It's no longer
I in relation to thou
or thou in opposite to I.
It's simply I am thee
and thee I am.
Oh love
that destroys
all separation
Oh love
that goes beyond
the physical
boundaries
of time and space!
What pure joy
What holy gladness
it is to fall in love
a trillion times
and even more
to the same beloved
repeating tirelessly
with more intensity
and fast cadence
as in dance steps
love's whisper...
I love you
I love you most
I love you dearly
until the point
is reached
the aha of love's ecstasy!
Blessed are those
who love and receive love
in the joy of marriage
which is a foretelling
of the already and not yet
of heaven's joy!
These are love poems which I wrote out of my prayer and inspiration to paint a portrait of my deepest love for my wife Marl, who is God's gift of love and joy in my life today. May the reading of these poems produce a rippling effect of much deeper and faithful love for married couples.

Our Love in the Here and Now - 2nd Wedding Anniversary
As we celebrate
our second year of marriage
let's simply focus
how we love each other
in the here and now
let's forget yesterday
and let tomorrow take care
of itself, and just be
happy and grateful
in the love we share
in the here and now.
Now is the eternal bliss
Here is our heavenly abode
what more can we ask
we have the love
that transcends time and space
that extends the horizons
of this passing world
a love that is constant
and strong is enduring
till the end, no matter what.
Once in time
you took the effort
to reach out to me
in my solitude
and hidden life
along the Pecos river
of a benedictine monastery.
And I responded with delight
following my heart's whisper
never to let your beauty fade
but allow it to glow
captivating me to make a journey
to go home and find you
in real person of your unique you
so in our face to face meeting
the seed of love can blossom
into a full blown rosebud.
That was December 8,2007
when we made our wedding knot
in the presence of our families,
classmates, co-workers and friends.
What better way to celebrate
our 2nd year anniversary
that the courage and joy
to renew what we have vowed to
to love one another
in health and sickness
in the best of times
in the worst of times
till death do us part...
